Overview
AOD-9604 is a modified fragment of the human growth hormone molecule, specifically the C-terminal fragment (Tyr-hGH177-191). It was originally developed by Monash University to combat obesity by mimicking the way natural HGH regulates fat metabolism, but without the adverse effects on blood sugar or growth that full HGH can cause. Research indicates it stimulates lipolysis (the breakdown of fat) and inhibits lipogenesis (the transformation of food into body fat). Unlike HGH, it does not appear to affect IGF-1 levels or cause insulin resistance. It has also been studied for its potential regenerative effects on cartilage and bone.

Research information
AOD 9604 is a modified peptide fragment of human growth hormone, specifically developed to target fat metabolism without the systemic effects of the full hormone. It is widely studied for its potential in weight management research. Current evidence is largely preclinical, and it remains a subject of ongoing investigation in laboratory settings.
